Let’s stop bringing up whether President Biden should or should not remove himself from the presidential race. First off, our concerns remain speculative. I’m sixty four and lost my balance the other day and fell into a coffee table. And it hurt. I’m sixty four and I misplace at least one item per day: keys, wallet, cell, the car in a parking lot. I have completely lost track of what I was saying, especially when talking in a group of people. One on one, I’m fine. Larger groups? I think most people shield their remarks a bit and in the process may lose their train of thought.
What everyone has been speculating about this past week has got to put President Biden on edge. By being more aware of the scrutinizing, it’s highly possible a verbal slip up or a physical slip down will happen. This is, after all, the most visible person in the world. I too thought he should have pulled out after the debate, but now that it’s dominating all news coverage we need to stop. I know at least I will.
We’re inadvertently taking the focus off the felon, his demeanor that is already far worse than before. His promises of revenge. His lack of vision. His vision for the future merely stops in a mirror. Moves that he made during his term have freed him from a multitude of dangerous decisions. His complete lack of regard for any of us – yes MAGAs – any of us is apparent in everything he says. He mocks religion by photoshopping pictures of him praying. Come on. The guy is incapable of kneeling and acknowledging anyone potentially greater than him.
Watch out Jesus. All those pictures and statues could be next to go.
The man is a chronic liar. That’s why he can never take the stand in any of his cases. His strategy is clear. Deny and delay. He already has his posse lined up to erase his sins. What does he need God for?
But back to Joe. He is the President. He does have a lot on his plate, possibly more than any of his predecessors. With the strides we’ve made in understanding and coping with mental health, let’s give this man a break so he can spell out his agenda for the next four years. We know what his competition’s agenda is. Stay out of jail. Now with the immunity ruling, he can without hesitation say and do things he already did without consequence. A coyote on the prowl. I’ll stop discussing him. If we all don’t know enough about this guy by now, the next shocker he concocts will outdo all others. Freeing fellow January 6 felons. Letting the NRA go bonkers. A woman’s uterus. A gay couple’s stability. Ethnic cleansing. Not sure which one (s). Severe immigration ramifications? That’s called Day One, right after swearing to uphold the Constitution with his pudgy hand placed on a bible.
If Biden screws things up with good intentions and a challenged mind, he’ll do the right thing and shorten his next term. When (not if) Trump screws things up he’ll remove the evidence, if that’s even necessary.
